1 x Achillea Desert Eve Terracotta - 9cm Pot

A new compact variety of this wonderful cottage garden perennial with finely cut leaves and stout stems which grow to around 30cm (1ft) tall carrying clusters of burnt orange coloured flowers. The plate-like flower heads are a good contrast to other perennials and make attractive landing platforms for bees and butterflies in search of nectar. Sequential blooms are produced enduring flowering throughout the summer. Excellent for cutting and bringing indoors.

 Sun Exposure:

1. • Achillea plants generally prefer full sun. They thrive in locations with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. While they can tolerate partial shade, they often produce more prolific blooms in sunny conditions.

2. Soil Type:

   • Yarrow is adaptable to various soil types, including sandy, loamy, or clay soils. Well-drained soil is crucial to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.

3. Moisture:

   • Once established, many Achillea varieties are drought-tolerant. They prefer drier conditions and can withstand periods of low water availability. However, consistent moisture can be beneficial, especially during dry spells.

4. Pruning and Deadheading:

   • Regular deadheading (removing spent flowers) can encourage continuous blooming. Some varieties may benefit from occasional pruning to maintain a tidy appearance.
