The producer/the estate:
Celler Cecilio is a family estate in the village of Gratallops, in the heart of Priorat. When Cecilio Vincent settled in the Priorat, he met and married into a family which owned vineyards. They had been neglected, so Cecilio set about restoring them, and in 1942 he began bottling his own wines in a small stable that he renovated into a cellar and which is still in operation today.
Vicent farms four vineyard sites in Gratallops, the oldest vines are located in Els Espills where the Grenache and Carignan are 80 years old. His remaining plots of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah were replanted in the 1980s.
We are a close family business and are currently in our second generation. We are based on our natural lavender farm, Yorkshire Lavender in the North Yorkshire countryside.

With a member of our staff, Timi, a trained sommelier; it seemed crazy to let that enthusiasm and experience go to waste.
Wine starts in the ground! Just like lavender the correct soil, conditions and care are vital to grow excellent grapes to make exceptional wine.
