ARABIS ferdinandii coburgi Old Gold- Is a little, variegated perennial and early pollinator that blossoms pretty white flowers throughout the spring. It loves full sun and well-drained soil. Spreads to 40cm wide and 50cm in height. It is ideal for rockeries, mat-forming and ground cover.
This variegated selection is quite different in appearance from the familiar mounding types of Wall Cress. It forms a very low carpet of rounded, waxy-looking green-and-gold streaked leaves. A choice small groundcover, also excellent for edging, in the rock garden or alpine trough. Small white flowers in spring are a bonus, although not particularly showy. Drought tolerant, once established. Great between flagstones.
