A succulent mat-forming herbaceous perennial that turns fiery colors in autumn, this cultivar of the Chinese native Sedum tetractinum is an outstanding groundcover for spring to fall interest. Its trailing stems are densely furnished with paired round bright green leaves that form rosettes at the branch tips. The leaves turn showy bronze and burgundy tones in fall. Starry yellow flowers dot the foliage in late summer, followed by russet seed capsules. Plants root at their tips to eventually form large carpets.
