A narrow upright, deciduous perennial which forms clumps of purple to glaucous, mid-green stems. These stems bear upright, flat, linear, greenish leaves up to 60cm long. The leaves turn yellow in autumn and light brown in winter.
Grow in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun.
