A matt-forming perennial which has lance-shaped, dark-green leaves. In June and July erect, terminal racemes of cup-shaped, brilliant blue flowers are borne.

Grow in loamy, moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. It will reach a height of 30cm and a spread of 60cm.
